The Daemons kept coming, and Kroak decided he was done being nice and pulled stupid OP apocalypse magic out of his cloaca. When he got tired of this, he exploded the forcefield outwards and vaporized about a million Daemons in the process.

Apart from teaching the Elves how to use magic, he pulled off shit like holding up a city-spanning forcefield around Itza for decades (possibly even centuries) while a literally infinite horde of Daemons continually assaulted it 24/7, or however many hours there are in a day on Mallus. Reading his lore, the Grand Pepe Supreme sounds like a goddamn Dragon Ball Z character. This is the one case where I feel fairly confident in just saying straight up that Kroak is not just the most powerful mage of all time, but the most powerful individual character in the history of the Warhammer world. All characters get hyped up, but contrary to what I've seen so many people here say, nobody gets described as 'the absolute greatest fighter' or something like that. Other sources state the Old Ones as having arrived about -15000 IC, which makes much more sense. all of zero sense, as the Great Catastrophe is stated to have happened in -5600 IC. For example, in the 8th edition Rulebook, the Old Ones are stated as having arrived in -5900 IC, which makes. There is no one entirely consistent lore to this setting, and some things can vary quite a bit. The lore of Warhammer is not entirely consistent and sometimes even individual books contradict themselves.
